Underground conduit drilling in Orange County
One reamed hole, several ducts, and the surface left alone: how conduit bundles go in across Orlando sites and rights-of-way.

Davis Underground Solutions, Inc.
Directional drilling and boring across Florida; locates, bore plan and utility coordination handled. More about Davis Underground Solutions →
The bundle sets the bore
How many ducts, what size and material, and how much pull-back the bundle can take: those decide the reamer and the fluid. The pilot hole is drilled and tracked, the hole is opened to leave room for the bundle, and the ducts are pulled back together on a swivel. On an Orange County site that might be a power duct, a communications duct and two spares under a resort service road, or a six-way duct bank under a county road for a utility.
Where it is used
- Resorts, campuses and multifamily developments linking buildings.
- Street crossings for utilities that want spare capacity in the same bore.
- Traffic signal and ITS conduit along the arterials.
- Conduit placed ahead of paving in the new subdivisions west and south of town.
- Canal crossings between lakes where a trench is not allowed.
Ground and crossings
Sand and water close to the surface, karst watched; the toll roads, I-4, SunRail and the lake canals, each with its own permit.
Delivered
Ducts proofed with mandrel and pull tape, pull boxes set to the design, Sunshine 811 and the permit handled, and an as-built. Davis Underground Solutions, Inc. owns the rigs and crews; Florida work shows mobilization on the estimate. Davis Underground Solutions has recent conduit work. Estimates are free.
